INTRO: The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command through its Public Relations Officer (PRO), Mr. Anjuguri Manza disclosed on Sunday, September 8, 2020 that the Command has deployed proactive intelligence gathering mechanism, and crime-fighting measures in the FCT.
The reason for the deployment of the proactive intelligence gathering mechanism was to beef up security in the FCT, forestalling any act capable of security breach, towards the Command’s commitment to protecting lives and property.
The Police PRO stated resolve of the Police Command to working with sister security agencies in delivering a formidable security feat for the FCT. He advised residents to partake in the security operations by reporting suspicious persons immediately through any of the FCT Police Command Control numbers on 08032003913, 08061581938, 07057337653, and 08028940883.
This is timely, and thoughtful of the Police Command especially as there are reports of Boko Haram infiltration into Abuja. Security is best when there is proper intelligence on early warning signals, and then intervention.
